The 3rd International Forum of Guides “Silk Road: Cooperation without boundaries” will be held at City Palace Hotel Tashkent on February 21-22. The event, timed to celebration of the International Tourist Guide Day, will bring together more than 150 domestic and international guides, as well as experts of tourism sector.
As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, it is planned that Vice President at American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute Ed Kastli, President of the Association of the licensed Russian speaking tourist guides of France Gari Sapharian, President of the Spanish Confederation of Official Tourist Guides Almudena Cencerrado Rodríguez, Director of the Archaeological Museum of Ancient Capua (Italy) Ida Gennarelli and others will address the forum.
The forum will be held in the format of three business areas – “International Scientific Practical Conference “Silk Road: Cooperation without boundaries”, “Guide laboratory: Master classes”, “Exposition Part”.
Results of the photo competition “Uzbekistan – a country of tourism” will be announced within the framework of the event.
Following the forum, recommendations will be prepared for improving the effectiveness of the guides’ activities, development of educational and scientific manuals, implementation of new projects, as well as memorandums of cooperation will be signed between the Educational and Consulting Center of Tourism and the National Association of Tourist Guides of India, Spain and France.
