The Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries was established under Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-5046 of 19 May 2017 and Resolution No. PP-2993 of 23 May 2017.
Its core tasks are safeguarding interethnic harmony, supporting the national cultural centres, developing friendly ties and cooperation with the peoples of foreign countries, and working with Uzbek communities abroad.
