According to Xinhua News Agency, the President of China will attend the opening ceremony of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing on 4-6 February and will hold a welcome reception for foreign leaders, heads of government, members of royal families and heads of international organizations.

Among the guests are the heads of Russia, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Poland, Argentina, the King of Cambodia, the Emir of Qatar, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the leaders of several other states, President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Ghebreyesus.

The Olympic Games in Beijing will be held on 4-20 February, the Paralympics – March 4-13.
